Although it is not yet sold in our country, the Xiaomi 14 series starts at 550 dollars. However, CEO Lei Jun said that prices will increase with the 15 series.

Xiaomi may change its pricing policy to increase competition in the high-end market. Accordingly, it stated that it wants to significantly increase the prices of the next generation flagship phones. CEO Lei Jun made the first statement on the subject.
Answering some questions on China’s social media platform Weibo, Xiaomi CEO underlined that the 14 series introduced this year is at similar levels with the 13 in terms of price. However, he announced that the price of Xiaomi 15 will increase compared to the previous model.
“Xiaomi hopes to produce better cell phones and will no longer be stuck at this price in the future,” he said. CEO Jun cited high-end features and hardware improvements as the main reasons for the company’s higher prices.
For years, Xiaomi has attracted the attention of budget-conscious users by selling flagship devices at cheaper prices than rivals like Apple. However, it seems that the price policy will change due to global inflation and rising hardware costs.
It is not yet clear how much prices will increase with the Xiaomi 15. However, if we consider that Apple has raised its top-end models between 100 and 200 dollars, Xiaomi’s top-end models can start at $ 700.
